ABOUT CAROLYN PY
Acrylic Paint, Chalk Pastel Oil Paint, Mixed Media, Weaving, Sculpture.
Although I came from a family of troubled artists, I didn’t begin my artistic career until I was 40, in the year 2000. To my own surprise, the first time I picked up a pencil, it immediately felt natural. I instinctively knew how to create the shape, texture, and colors needed to bring the 3D world into a 2D picture. Soon after, I enrolled in courses at Bucks County Community College. From there, I received the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke award, which included a three-year paid education at Chestnut Hill College in Fine Arts and Technology.
